The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to establish a contract with a qualified bidder to provide refuse pick-up and disposal service for Patrick & Henry Community College (P&HCC) located at 65 Patriot Avenue, Martinsville, Virginia 24112. This IFB should result in a one (1) year contract, with the option to renew up to four (4) successive one (1) year periods. The VCCS invites any qualified bidders to respond to this IFB by submitting a bid for such work, services, and/or items consistent with the terms and conditions set forth herein Contract Term: One (1) year with four (4) additional, optional one (1) year renewal periods The P&HCC reserves the right to add or remove containers and to change locations on an as-needed basis at the awarded price listed in Attachment 5 Pricing Schedule for that type and size of refuse container. P&HCC shall notify the contractor within thirty (30) days prior to the initial pick-up of the refuse in order to revise the schedule, if necessary.
