This project consists of the removal of the existing approximately 23" x 53' concrete ramp and the installation of a new 28' x 72' two lane concrete boat ramp. Address: Terminus of Chandler Road, Awendaw SC 29429. Must have Marine Contractor's license. The last day and time for submittal of written questions shall be no later than 2:00 p.m. ET Monday, December 30, 2024 All questions pertaining to the bid documents shall be referred by email prcprocurement@ccprc.com. The last day and time for submittal of written questions shall be no later Disabilities Act, International Building codes, Local Codes, Manufacturing Recommendations and Life Safety Codes reasonably required to complete the Scope of Work and meet the intent of the IFB. The Scope of Work listed under Item 1- Base Bid and extended under each subsequent Item description assumes to include all labor, permits, material, equipment, and inclusive services required to complete the project. Unit prices are for any pay adjustments. The Contractor remove the existing concrete ramp. All demolition material shall be hauled off and disposed of appropriately. Normal work hours are 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday. Any weekend work must be approved prior to commencing work. Boat landing will be closed to the public during construction. The contractor shall maintain a safe work area around the facility. The worksite shall be secured and cleaned up daily (nails, debris, equipment, etc.) Contractor will be responsible for removal and disposal of all construction materials and debris. Provide As-Built drawings. Paradise Island BL must be substantially complete and ready to use by May 15, 2025. Final completion for the entire project must be reached by May 31, 2025. Liquidated Damages: $300 per day. Work must be in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations, the 2018 International Plumbing Code, and all local codes. Means and methods are the responsibility of the contractor. Contractor must comply with the Town of Awendaw Business License. SC Department of Environmental Services-Bureau of Coastal Management permit has been received. Corps of Engineers permit has been received. Modifications to the Paradise Island public boat landing to include removal of the existing 23' X 53' concrete boat ramp and installation of a new, 28' X 72' two-lane concrete boat ramp and the installation of an 8'X 100* L-shaped floating courtesy dock with an 11'x 72'ground out dock pad. The proposed new floating dock will assist with on-loading and off-loading for users ofthe boat ramp.
