The City of Temple is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors for landscaping improvements at the old Lengefeld Lumber property located at 8 N 13 th Street. The site was cleared in 2023, including the demolition of buildings, concrete pads, and fencing. However, the property has struggled to establish grass and remains an eyesore. This project aims to revamp the site through the scraping of all surfaces, installation of new topsoil, design and installation of an irrigation system, and the application of Bermuda hydromulch for durable, low-maintenance ground cover.
