Asbestos Abatement & Demolition of 2 Commercial Structures Scope of Work The intent of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to establish an Asbestos Abatement and Demolition of Structure Contract for the asbestos abatement and demolition of two (2) commercial structures located at 309 E Ave A and 311 E Central Ave. It is the intent of the City to award this bid in its entirety to one contractor. Bidders shall bid on all properties to be considered for award of this bid. The work shall be completed within 30 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed. The estimate of probable cost associated with this project is $67,798. Question Deadline 01/16/2025 at 12:00 PM CT Submit questions in writing through the Bonfire online bidding portal or email to purchasing@templetx.gov. The Building Inspection Report for Asbestos-Containing Materials (ACBM) reports for each property location, provided as separate attachments, detail the following results of asbestos testing: o 309 E Avenue A: Approximately 910 square feet of drywall texture/asbestos waste throughout the property. o 311 E Central Avenue: Approximately 2,388 square feet of floor tile/mastic/multi-layer throughout the property.
