Description

This is a service / maintenance or supply contract in Independence, California. Contact the soliciting agency for additional information.

The bid will include one Annual Minor Maintenance Inspection: Inspect engine electrical and starting system, generator, safety controls, instrumentation, air induction and exhaust, lubrication system, cooling system, fuel system and Automatic Transfer System. The bid will include one Annual Major Service: Change all fluids; replace oil, fuel, and air filters; lubricate all applicable bearings; and perform inspections indicated above. Environmental charges for recycling oil and coolant will be included. Prevailing wage, per diem and travel will be included. The successful bidder will enter into a three (3) year contract (see Exhibit 2: Inyo County Standard Contract No. 116) with Inyo County to perform bi-annual generator maintenance at numerous locations. These generators are located in Bishop, Independence and Lone Pine, California; see Bid Sheet for details. Pre-Bid meeting not required. Inyo County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to waive any minor informality in any bid if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the County of Inyo.
