The HORSESHOE MEADOWS GUARDRAIL REPLACEMENT PROJECT will occur at one location. Directions are as follows: Turn West onto Mt. Whitney Road off US 395, proceed 3.14 miles, turn left (South) onto Horseshoe Meadows Road. The project site will be a total of 9.71 miles from US 395 adjacent to the De La Cour Ranch Lat 36.504894 Long -118.102368. The project scope consist of the removal and replacement of approximately 275 LF of MGS guardrail and 8' steel posts. Total length includes the TL-3 MASH in-line terminations. All materials are subject to BUY AMERICA rules. All of the work shall be in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, codes, and regulations. bid date notes :or fax proposals or modifications will be accepted. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Proposal Guarantee in the amount and form described in the Bid Package, in an amount not less than 10% of the amount of the bid, made payable to the order of the County of Inyo. The check or bond shall be given as security that the bidder will enter into the Contract with the County and furnish the required Faithful Performance Bond, Labor and Materials Payment Bond, Certificates and/or original endorsements of insurance, or other required documents. The check or bond may be retained by the County for sixty (60) days or until the Contract is fully executed by the successful bidder and the County, whichever first occurs. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Faithful Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond on the forms provided in the Bid Package and in the amount of 100% of the Contract amount.
