Reference Number 0000370320 The Charter Township of Oxford is requesting bids for the construction of a pressure reducing valve. The project includes the following general components: Installation of an 8"pressure reducing valve (PRV) and associated appurtenances. Installation of an 8"flow meter and associated appurtenances. Expansion of the existing valve vault structure to accommodate the new PRV and meter. Two (2) 16" x 8" tapping sleeves and wells. 55 feet of 8" ductile iron pipe. Removal of an existing 2" bypass line around the existing 10" PRV. Miscellaneous electrical. Job Location Willow Lake Subdivision, Oxford, MI. The project location is near the intersection of Willow Lake Drive and State Street. Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % -- Each Proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of five (5%) percent of the total bid price. Certified Checks should be payable to the Charter Township of Oxford. *Oxford Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive informalities or errors in the bidding process, and to accept any bid deemed to be in the best interest of the Township, including bids that are not for the lower amount. Bids. shall remain firm for a period of ninety (90) days.
