Jackson Madison County General Hospital District is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified architectural firms with relevant experience in healthcare facility design, specifically in specialized infectious disease units. This RFQ seeks to identify an architectural partner to collaborate with Jackson Madison County General Hospital District in designing a state-of-the-art specialized infectious disease unit addition that would be accessible through Jackson Madison County General Hospital's (JMCGH) current Emergency Department. With this project we will focus on optimizing infection control, creating a restricted zone layout, and adhering to the latest healthcare facility design standards. The project involves the construction of a 15,296 square foot addition on JMCGH's current Emergency Department facility located at 620 Skyline Drive Jackson, TN 38301. The addition will include: 20 Single-Patient Occupancy Negative Pressure Isolation Rooms with Anterooms Decontamination Zone with Shower with Dedicated water collection system Restricted Access Zones and color-coded Zoned Layouts HVAC Systems capable of HEPA filtration Remote Monitoring Capabilities- Glass Walls, Cameras, Electronic Monitoring Sensor-Based Lighting, Touchless Faucets, and Automated Doors Ambulance Bay and Dedicated Patient/Staff Entrance Project Design Start Date: January 20, 2025 Project Completion Date: June 30, 2026 The estimated overall budget for the project is $19,408,193, with the construction portion of the budget estimated at $13,182,988. The project is anticipated to start design work on January 20, 2025, and must be completed by June 30, 2026. The selected architectural firm will be responsible for providing full architectural design services from conceptual design through project closeout, including construction administration and coordination with relevant consultants.
