Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
Scope of Work: The removal and legal disposal of the material and debris from the demolition of eight (8) residential properties. All bidders are encouraged to contact Dave Williams, Codes Director, (814) 539-2504 Ext 115 with any questions. To receive bid documents, please contact Theresa Rowe (814) 539-2504 Ext 118 or trowe@johnstownpa.gov. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the City of Johnstown, or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount shall be submitted with each bid as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted and awarded, a contract shall be entered into. The successful bidder must furnish 100% Performance, Labor and Material's Bonds along with the proper insurance, City Permits, and filing of no-lien agreement, before being awarded the contract. The City of Johnstown reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to re-advertise or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the City of Johnstown for a period of not-to-exceed sixty (60) days from the date of opening of the bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of the bidders, prior to awarding of the contract. All bidders are encouraged to contact Dave Williams, Codes Director, (814) 539-2504 Ext:115 with any questions. Bid date notes: Bid proposal documents shall be enclosed in an envelope (outer and inner) both of which shall be sealed and clearly labeled Proposal for COJ FY 2024-2 Demolition Project. The bidder shall be responsible for the placement of the firm's name on the outside of the bid envelopes.
