Contract No. 3092-21-01 consists of approximately 1200 L.F. of 6" & 8" gravity sewer to be pipe burst, replacement of existing manholes, reconnecting 22 services with viewports, sewerline appurtenances, and all related work. Work under this contract shall include all materials, equipment, supplies, and labor for the construction as shown and specified in the Contract Documents. The project is located in Ferndale Borough, Cambria County, Pennsylvania. To access the electronic format the bidder must have a valid email address and will require an internet connection. All checks shall be made payable to "The EADS Group, Inc." Bidders must purchase the Contract Documents and Plans (in either format) from The EADS Group, Inc. to be eligible to bid this project. The project is being financed in part by a grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Commonwealth Financing Authority and local funds. The obligations imposed on the Owner by the funding agency shall apply to and be acceptable to the successful bidder(s). Not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder(s) will be required to fully complete all work within 45 consecutive calendar days from, and including, the date indicated by the Owner in their written Notice to Proceed. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids. The Owner also reserves the right to waive all minor informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the Work and to award the contract as may be deemed in the best interest of the Owner.
