The Key Largo Wastewater Treatment District intends to upgrade its odor control at Vacuum Stations A and D. The scope of work includes removing and replacing the existing odor control system at both of these vacuum stations and installing new odor control tanks and associated foundations, structures, piping and electrical infrastructure in accordance with the plans and specifications. The existing odor control systems which are located inside of the buildings will be removed and the new odor control systems will be installed outside the building as shown on the plans. Additionally, the existing generators and day tanks located inside the buildings will be removed and new generators will be installed outside the buildings as shown in the plans. The District may Owner Direct Purchase (ODP) both the generators and the odor control tanks. This project also will have an additive alternate scope of work to install the odor control features at the other District Vacuum Stations for Vac Station E, G, I, and J/K. The District may also elect to ODP the odor control tanks for these additional Vac Stations as well.
