This work includes the installation of two voltage regulation transformers with the first being rated at 2,000 amps with 1,500 kVAs and the second rated at 400 amps with 350 kVAs that will regulate incoming voltage for the WWTP and Vac Station E respectively, installation of surge suppression devices equipped on critical systems and equipment, as well as installation of new lightning rods to enhance the plant's protection against lightning strikes. The installation of a new 3000A ATS in a NEMA 4X/3R SS enclosure will be installed in the footprint of the existing ATS. This project also proposes replacing the corroded conduit with Schedule 80 PVC conduit, installed above grade for ease of access and troubleshooting. This upgrade will involve rerunning the majority of power and signal wires, allowing for continuous connections to control panels, power panels, and motor control centers (MCCs). Contractor is to include all items necessary to install and complete the systems and bring them to a functional state as described in the plans and specifications. All work is to be in compliance with the current versions of NEC as well as the Florida Building Code.
