Colorado School of Mines (Mines) is seeking Roofing Contractor qualifications for a Capital Maintenance (CM) project on campus at Brown Hall (BH) to replace the east portion of the building's roof. This project will remove and replace the roofing system at 29,620 square feet and install a new fall protection system. The new roof system will include insulation, waterproofing materials, roof curbs, flashings and roof drains/scuppers. There are two roofing types that are being designed and considered: a built-up asphalt system and a ballasted EPDM system. Responding roofing contractors should be able to price and install both systems. This project will be accomplished in a single phase to address this continuous roof section.
