Renovation of a power facility in Bellingham, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a power facility.
PP Electrical Upgrades, PW820, is a project that will replace the existing generator, main distribution panel, and medium voltage transformer at the Physical Plant. The Architect/Engineer's estimate: $400,000. MWBE: Western Washington University is committed to providing the maximum practicable opportunity for participation by minority and women-owned businesses (MWBE) in public works. Voluntary goals for this project have been established as 10% MBE and 6% WBE. Participation may be either on a direct basis in response to this invitation to bid, or as a subcontractor or supplier. However, no minimum level of MWBE participation shall be required as a condition for receiving an award and bids will not be rejected or considered non-responsive if they do not include MWBE participation.
