Demolition, site work and asbestos abatement for a mixed-use development in Kodiak, Alaska. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; for asbestos abatement for a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; and water / sewer project.
Project consists of removing all finishes and materials from two existing apartment buildings down to bare studs and structural plywood sheathing; demolishing existing mechanical/laundry building; and removal of existing underground fuel storage tank. Anticipated Notice to Proceed is December 31, 2024. All work must be substantially complete not later than May 1, 2025 and final completion achieved not later than June 1, 2025. Any questions or clarifications regarding the bid documents are due no later than 4:00 pm (local time) Tuesday December 10, 2024 The Kodiak Island Borough reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bids, and waive irregularities or informalities in the bid or in the bidding. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, cashier check or money order in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. Bid bonds shall be in a form satisfactory to the Kodiak Island Borough.
