The project consists of construction of a new 810,000 gallon pre-stressed concrete water storage tank, approximately 8,600 feet of new 8" and 6" PVC water main, 95 lineal feet of jack and bore pipe installation beneath HWY 89, and associated appurtenances, water services, and surface restoration. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond payable to City of Choteau, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Successful Bidders shall furnish an approved Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals received, to waive informalities, to postpone the award of the contract for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days, and to accept the lowest responsive and responsible bid that is in the best interest of the Owner. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be submitted in writing to and must be received by Great West Engineering no later than local time on January 3rd, 2025. Questions received after this date will not be answered. Oral questions will only be accepted at the Pre-Bid conference.
