Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Choteau, Montana. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The project consists of five (5) bridges located within teton county, mt. Mdt bridge #04565 (airport road) improvements consist of encapsulating two existing timber piles, one on each abutment of the bridge. Mdt bridge #04573 (7th lane) improvements consist of replacing two deteriorated existing timber girders of the bridge superstructure. Mdt bridge #04578 (2nd lane) improvements consist of replacing five deteriorated existing timber girders of the bridge superstructure. Mdt bridge #04548 (20th lane - habel bridge) improvements consist of repairing the existing substructure and wingwalls of the northwestern abutment of the bridge. Substructure repairs include installing a tieback to a concrete deadman, concrete encapsulation of the existing timber piles, and strengthening of the existing timber piles. Wingwall repairs include replacement of the existing wingwall timber planks and steel cable pile ties. Mdt bridge #04564 (3rd avenue - muddy creek bridge) improvements consist of repairing the existing substructure of the north abutment of the bridge. Substructure repairs include jacking up the existing superstructure nstalling gabion baskets to create a level foundation, installing a new prefabricated steel sill box filled with concrete, and a new prefabricated steel backwall.
