Site work for a power facility in New Hampton, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a power facility.
The project includes furnishing and installing concrete foundations, steel, conduit, power cable, control cable. Project also includes grounding, bus work, assisting in the installation of an Owner-furnished power transformer, circuit interrupter, and lightning arresters, Project includes modifications to the existing switchgear lineup, deadend, and the removal of existing substation equipment no longer needed at the New Hampton Stolz Park Substation. Est. Completion Date: Aug. 31, 2025 Each bid shall be made out on a blank form furnished by the Municipal Light Plant and must contain bid security as required by Iowa Code Section 26.8. The bidder's security shall be in the form of either (1) a cashier's check or certified check drawn on a state-chartered or federally chartered bank, in an amount equal to ten (10) percent of the amount of the Bid; or (2) a certified share draft drawn on a state-chartered or federally chartered credit union, in an amount equal to ten (10) percent of the amount of the Bid; or (3) a bid bond executed by a corporation authorized to contract as a surety in the State of Iowa, in an amount equal to ten (10) percent of the amount of the Bid.
