Site work, paving and new construction of a municipal facility in New Hampton, Iowa. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade municipal facility.
The work shall be accomplished under a Single Construction Contract and will include general construction; site construction such as grading, paving, and site utilities; mechanical construction including plumbing, heating, ventilating, and air conditioning; and electrical construction including power, lighting, communication, and fire safety. On-site mobilization and construction shall begin no sooner than Monday April 6th, 2026, with substantial completion required by Friday, December 18th, 2026, dependent upon material delivery lead times. All bids must be made on the printed forms attached to and made a part of the proposed Contract Documents, and must be accompanied by bid security of at least five percent of the project bid amount in the form of cash, cashiers check, certified check, certified share draft, or bid bond. No bidder may withdraw their bid for at least forty-five days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Chickasaw County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive all informality and irregularity if judged to be in their best interests, and to make a selection, including any alternate bids, that they judge best suited for the project's purpose.
