Request for Qualifications for Design-Build services for rebuilding a 115 kV line. The Project is summarized as follows: NWCPUD seeks to engage an engineering firm ("Engineer") with the qualifications to determine the most economical and expeditious option to rebuild the 115 kV line that achieves a line rating objective. In addition to reaching a rating greater than 1600 amps, NWCPUD needs to identify options for reducing fault currents in some of its receiving stations. Site: The 8.5 mile, 115 kV transmission line, easements and substation terminals that connects BPA's Big Eddy Substation with BPA's The Dalles Substation. Questions Due from Respondents 11/25/2024 Clarifications Posted to online 12/04/2024 Tentative Construction Complete September 2026 Owner reserves the right to reject or disregard any Statement of Qualifications, in whole or in part, based on Owner's sole discretion. The evaluation and selection process entail the exercise of judgment and subjective analysis and decision-making. Owner may reject any or all submissions if the Owner deems doing so would be in the public's interest. Any entity responding to this solicitation shall do so at its sole expense. Public Records laws apply to all submissions.
