Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Vancouver, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade multi-residential development; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The Housing Authority of the City of Vancouver (VHA) is issuing this invitation to bid with the intention of awarding a contract for the purchase of general contractor services for work to be performed as outlined in this solicitation, in accordance with RCW 39.26. A Contract may be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. The VHA reserves the right to amend and modify this competitive solicitation. Questions/Clarifications Due Date: December 27, 2024 at 5:00 PM (PT) Questions or concerns regarding this competitive solicitation must be direct to Procurement and submitted electronically through Public Purchase. The VHA reserves the right to amend and modify this competitive solicitation. Only bidders who have properly registered and downloaded the original competitive solicitation directly via Public Purchase will receive notifications of amendments and other correspondence pertinent to this competitive solicitation. The form of the Contract that will be awarded as a result of this competitive solicitation is attached as Attachment C - Sample Contract. This Contract shall commence upon the date of execution for a term of one (1) year and may be renewed for additional one-year terms up to a maximum of five (5) years in total. Prices will be adjusted upon annual renewal. The Contract is subject to earlier termination. Fishers Mill Apartments is located at 1000 SE 160th Ave, Vancouver WA 98683. The property is middle-income property, on a 19.05-acre site and contains (39) two-story multifamily buildings, (1) split-story community Clubhouse, and (12) one-story existing freestanding garages. SCOPE OF WORK The primary scope of work for this project includes removal and replacement of the parking lot; substantial repair and replacement of site drainage; expansion of the existing playground; construction of (2) two dog walk areas; and select new sidewalks and gravel paths. Parking lot will remain in use during the replacement. Contractor should plan for a minimum of (4) four phases. Scope of Work may be executed simultaneously in coordination with the other Site Improvements (such as the connection of gutter downspouts to new site drainage). Phasing of the project may be contingent on this separate but related site work. Subcontractor eligibility and approval will be determined by the VHA. Bidders must be able to timely provide subcontractor alternates upon request.
