Project Request for Qualifications for Construction Management at Risk Services for the 165.000sf Elementary School Project in Wilmington, MA Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is the first phase of the two-phase procurement process as set forth in M.G.L. 149A. Firms interested in being prequalified that they have prior experience as a Construction Manager on projects of similar size, complexity, and type as this project as described in the RFQ. At the time a CM firm submits its Qualification Statement, the CM firm must have a DCAMM Certification in the Contractor Category, 'General Building Construction' Estimated Construction Cost: $145,000,000 The combined project Minority Business Enterprise ("MBE") and Women Business Enterprise ("WBE") is 10.4%. The project consolidates three (3) aged existing elementary schools namely, the Wildwood Early Childhood Center, Woburn Street Elementary School and North Intermediate School, into a single building. The new school will be approximately 163,573 GSF three-story new construction at the rear of the site, behind the existing North Intermediate School. This concept strives for a compact building footprint while still providing small learning communities as envisioned during the planning stages. The design provides flexibility for multiple organizational concepts, currently as grade-level grouping. The building is clearly and intentionally zoned with public and private areas for safety and security reasons. The site provides adequate parking, fields, separation of cars and buses, and an access road around the building
