Furnishing and Installing New Chain Link Fencing at Sean Collier Playground. Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. The Work consists of Furnishing, Delivering, and Installing new chain link fencing around two sides of the existing Sean Collier Playground at Silver Lake and all work incidental thereto, in accordance with the Specifications and conceptual plans attached hereto. Work shall include the complete furnishing and installation of the new fence, which will fully enclose the existing playground to isolate it from the swimming beach area. This work is proposed in order to allow the public to access the free playground during beach season when non-residents must pay an entrance fee to use the swimming beach. All new fence shall be 6-gauge black vinyl coated chain link, 6-feet high as specified below. End posts as shown on the sketch where the proposed fence meets the existing fence shall be new and installed as close to the existing fence as possible - fence does not need to attached to existing posts from old fence. Bottom rail shall be included. Fence shall include one double 6-foot (12 foot opening) vehicle gate as shown in Figure 1. Perform all work required to complete the work of the Section, as indicated.
