The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. SCOPE OF WORK: 1. The contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, tools, equipment and material needed to complete the renovations of the PMC greenhouse. 2. The contractor will be responsible for removal and disposal of existing greenhouse panels. 3. The contractor will install new double-walled acrylic panels. The existing framework will be re-used. 4. New weather seals will be installed as new acrylic panels are installed. 5. The contractor will replace southeast walk-in door, two (2) 36" inch wide by 80 inch tall steel insulated ADA compliant door. Door shall be smooth, no window, 28-gauge hotdipped galvanized steel with two coats of baked enamel paint. Door shall be furnished with appropriate framing, lever, threshold and weather stripping. Closure will be installed on door. Provide new frame for door with threshold. 6. Contractor will replace southeast door concrete approach area approximately 48 inches x 42 inches. 7. Install 4" concrete floor with a 3" compacted gravel base. Concrete will have 1/2 " rebar on 2' centers. 8. The contractor will remove and dispose of existing concrete and debris. 9. The contractor will remove existing benches. Benches will remain at the USDA - Plant Materials Center for future use. 10. The contractor will install 2 1/2 " NDS Spee-D strip drain or comparable and two 4" floor drains. Drains will connect to 4" drainpipe underground that flows to pond, located west of greenhouse. 11. Contractor will install new 24 ft modern cooling system. This will replace existing system and will work with existing Wadsworth Control System. 12. The new system will consist of (25) 6" x 12" x 36" with one side coated. Plumbing package with Rojo valve, one 115 volt submersible pump and an inline tank. 13. Contractor will install 24 ft of pad mounts with 10 inch stringer or similar. 14. Contractor will install (2) DCA 30 exhaust fan belts 15. Contractor will connect vent motor controller to existing Wadsworth EnviroSTEP Control System. 16. Contractor will replace board that mounts electrical box located on east side of greenhouse. Board will need to be waterproof/water resistant. 17. Contractor will reconfigure wiring from overhead lights to connect to Wadsworth Control System
