Clarifications or changes will be issued in the form of an Addendum to all Bidders recorded as receiving the Tender Documents through the MERX system 1 Work of this Contract comprises general construction and renovation for the Discovery Collegiate Daycare, located at Discovery Colligate School, 315 Confederation Drive, Bonavista, NL, and further identified as Discovery Daycare. 2 Work included in this contract comprises of demolition of partitions and classroom space and the construction of a Day Care complete with exterior play space. .3 Work covered by the contract documents includes Commissioning of the facility as per Section 01 91 13.13-Commissioning (Cx) Requirements including engagement of third-party structural engineer for verification of equipment structural support. 4 The Work under this Contract will be substantially performed by March 31, 2025 from the date of notification of award of contract. This section of the Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: .1 Demolition, removal completely from site, and disposal of all identified components, materials, equipment and debris. 2 Selective demolition to allow new walls, bulkheads, ceilings and other materials to meet existing construction as indicated. 3 All material from demolition shall be removed from site immediately with no salvage, selling, sorting or burning permitted on site. .4 Retain items indicated on drawings for re use in new construction.
