The Project consists of constructing new and replacement sewer mains, residential service lines, and all necessary appurtenances in the Community of Palo Pinto. Question Deadline 12/16/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. The awarding of the project will occur at 2:00 pm local time on Monday, December 23, 2024. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The project to be constructed will be funded with Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) allocated under the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and is subject to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations. In addition, the successful bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin. All contractors/subcontractors that are debarred, suspended or otherwise excluded from or ineligible for participation on federal assistance programs may not undertake any activity in part or in full under this project. Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises, and Women Business Enterprises, and Historically Underutilized Business firms are encouraged to submit bids.
