Site work and renovation of a civil project in Sunnyside, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Upgrade digester heating system at City's wastewater treatment facility. Project includes installation of a pre-purchased boiler, supplying and installing replacement flue, circulation pumps, temperature regulators, and hot water circulation loop piping system for boiler, and electrical upgrades for the area. An additive schedule to replace the heat exchangers with new spiral type and associated hot water pipe modifications to accommodate the new heat exchangers will be broken out separately for consideration. Low bidder will be determined based on the budget limitations of the City for either the base schedule of work items or the combined base plus additive schedule items. All questions should be directed to Dean P. Smith, PE, at 509-966-7000 or dsmith@hlacivil.com. The contract has thirty (30) working days to complete the work. Engineer's Estimate: $500,000. The City of Sunnyside reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive technicalities or irregularities, and after careful consideration of all bids and factors involved, make the award to best serve the interests of the City of Sunnyside.
