As of January 10, 2025, the bid date has been extended from January 8, 2025 to January 14, 2025 per the Construction Manager' plan room. Sealed Bids for the Lincoln Park Public Schools 2024 Bond, consisting of Bid Package #2 Secured Entry Renovations will be received. This Bid Package will consist of separate sealed Bids for the following Bid Divisions: BD 103: Selective Demolition BD 106: Masonry BD 107: Structural & Miscellaneous Steel BD 108: Carpentry, General Trades, Metal Stud, Drywall, & Acoustical Treatment BD 114: Aluminum Windows, Entrances, Glass & Glazing BD 118: Resilient Flooring & Carpeting BD 120: Painting BD 142: HVAC BD 142: Electrical All Bids must include the following sworn and notarized statements: Familial Disclosure Affidavit (Section 004205) Iran Linked Business Affidavit (Section 004210) Criminal Background Check Affidavit (Section 004220) The Board of Education will not accept a Bid that does not include these sworn and notarized disclosure statements. Bid security by a quality surety in the form of a Bid bond, cashier check, or certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid shall be submitted with each Bid, payable to Lincoln Park Public School District, as a guarantee that if the Bid is accepted, the School District is secured from loss or damage by reason of the withdrawal of the Bid or the failure of the Bidder to enter into a Contract for performance. The School District will not consider a Bid that does not include a Bid security. Further, the Bidder will execute the Contract, provide the required insurance certificate(s) and file the required bonds within ten (10) days after notice of award of Contract but prior to Work commencing. If awarded a Contract, the successful Bidder may be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract price. Lincoln Park Public Schools reserves the right to accept or reject any and all Bids, either in whole or in part, to waive any informalities and irregularities therein, or to award the Contract to other than the Bidder (s) submitting the best financial Bid (low Bidder), in its sole and absolute discretion.
