Site work and paving for a road / highway in Islip, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of February 19, 2025, this project has been awarded. Construction is expected to begin April 14, 2025 and be completed by December 31, 2027. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or acceptable bid bond in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid and made payable to the Town of Islip. No responsibility shall attach to any person or persons for premature opening of bids not properly labeled or sealed. The Town Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or part, to waive any informality in any or all bids, and to accept the bid or part thereof which it deems most favorable to the Town. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after being publicly opened and read. In the event bids are rejected, or no bids are received, the Department of Purchasing is fully authorized to re-advertise for bids.
