St. Charles County is seeking bids for Ready Mix Concrete. All bid prices submitted must be guaranteed for ninety (90) days. St. Charles County (SCC) approved mix designs: All material must meet or exceed the requirements in the St. Charles County Standard Specifications for Arterial Highway Construction, 2020 Edition for the specified material. Eastern Missouri Pavement Consortium (EMPC) approved mix designs: The County is interested in EMPC mix designs that perform similar to SCC standard mixes. All mix designs must be previously approved by the EMPC and currently listed as approved on the EMPC website. For both SCC and EMPC mix designs: Bidder must submit mix designs with mix analysis, full gradation analysis, and materials distribution with their bid for each mix type requested. Bids without accompanying mix designs may not be considered for award. St. Charles County reserves the right to accept and/or reject any and all bids. All deliveries must be accompanied by a batch ticket clearly stating the mix design and the batch weight of all components of the mix, including water. Water amount should be expressed in gallons and include the design target amount & actual amount of water batched. This is in addition to the standard truck ticket. Load delivered without proper documentation will be rejected.
