Demolition and renovation of a warehouse / distribution facility in Richland, Washington. Completed plans call for the demolition of a warehouse / distribution facility; and for the renovation of a warehouse / distribution facility.

The work will be completed on the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) Richland Campus at the Bulk Receiving & Shipping Warehouse (BRSW). BRSW is located at 790 6th St., Richland, Washington. Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, supervision, and subcontracts necessary to remove the existing wooden roof from the dock and replace it with a new metal roof. The roof demolition will include existing roof deck, beams, and columns. Demolition will also include existing concrete stairs, conduit, lights and removing the bottle storage for retention/reinstallation. Install will include the new metal support columns, beams, and roof decking. Also included is the reinstallation of the bottle racks, installation of stairs, and installation of conduit, wire, and associated electrical items. The security cameras will be removed and relocated per the attached drawings. The receiving dock (area in front of roll-up door) is to remain open for the duration of construction, provide coverage over the dock to protect the receiving crew from any construction activities/falling debris. Prime Contractor shall be pre-qualified prior to submitting bid; likewise, Subcontractors to a Prime Contractor performing work shall be prequalified prior to issuance of NTP. Note - An Experience Modification Rate (EMR) of less than or equal to 0.9 for Prime Contractor (1.0 for Subcontractors) and no willful OSHA/State Labor & Industries Citations over the past three years is needed to meet the pre-qualification requirement.
