The City of West Jordan (City) is seeking proposals from qualified Firms to design-build a disc golf course in the Sycamore neighborhood. This project aims to provide a recreational amenity that promotes outdoor activity, community engagement, and environmental stewardship. The City intends to hire a Firm to design and build a new disc golf course in the Sycamore neighborhood to enhance recreational opportunities for residents and visitors. The proposed disc golf course will be designed to cater to all skill levels, from beginners to experienced players, and will feature a layout that is challenging yet enjoyable. The course will be designed with safety, environmental sustainability, and minimal impact on the surrounding natural habitat in mind. The design-build team (Firm) shall work under a single contract from the beginning of the project to ensure unity and collaboration throughout the design-build project. The Firm and/or subcontractors must hold appropriate licenses, which may include B-100 or E-100 contractor licenses, or other licenses as applicable to the project's scope and trade requirements. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received, and to select the proposal deemed to be the most advantageous and in the best interest of the City. Non-acceptance of a proposal will mean that one or more others were deemed more advantageous to the City or that all proposals were rejected.
