Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Clarinda, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
**As of December 05, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The lowa Department of Administrative Services will be receiving bids for the replacement of the parking lot & tunnel cap, implementation of a sump pump system, replacement of utility lines, repairing the structural integrity of the tunnel walls and relocation of tunnel access hatches for the Main Building to the SW Wing underground tunnel at the Clarinda Correctional Facility, Clarinda, lowa 51632. The Bid Shall be accompanied by a Bid Security as set forth in the Instructions to Bidders in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check or a certified check drawn upon a solvent bank chartered under the laws of the United States of America. The lowa Department of Administrative Services anticipates construction to begin on February 26th, 2026 and end on August 28th, 2026. Question Deadline 11/06/2025 at 2:00 PM CT.
