Work consists of construction of the streetscape and public realm adjacent to a private development parcel. This project focuses on the south park and ride facility at Franklin Station and adjacent public space: Franklin Station South Park and Ride Lot at 2734 Radcliffe Drive SE, The adjacent municipal reserve land at 2618 Radcliffe Drive SE; and Radcliffe Drive SE from 28 Avenue SE to 9 Avenue SE. The goal is to make the site ready for redevelopment, while continuing to meet the needs of Calgary transit, and deliver high-quality, functional streetscapes and public spaces that enhance quality of life for current and future residents of the area. TIMELINE: RFP for project management, engagement support, planning, design, engineering and construction administration services to allow delivery of capital investments and on-site housing has been awarded. Schedules for design and construction may be confirmed early 2026. *Budget for consulting/professional fees is $2,025,000.
