Site work, new construction and renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Grayson, Saskatchewan. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 10,000-square-foot clubhouse / community center; and for the renovation of a 40,000-square-foot, four-story above grade clubhouse / community center.

Chief Red Bear Children's Lodge (CRBCL) is the first self-governing child and family service authority in Canada, aimed at supporting the wellbeing of Cowessess children and families across the country. The organization focuses on developing facilities and programs that reflect cultural values and respond to the community's unique needs. CRBCL is currently considering two capital projects: Miyo Pimatisowin Center 1: On Reserve, Cowessess - This building will be a central location for families to access all CRBCL services. It includes a daycare centre with an outdoor play area, programming space, office space, cultural space/facilities, outdoor recreational facility and a traditional healing and parenting space. It will be developed by renovating an existing building. Miyo Pimatisowin Center 2: 1200 Albert Street, Urban Reserve, Regina, SK - This building will also serve as a central location for families to access all CRBCL services. It includes a daycare centre with an outdoor play area, programming space, office space, cultural space/facilities, outdoor recreational facility and a traditional healing and parenting space. It will be a new build in a developed area. TIMELINE: A Request for proposals from consultants was issued for completion of feasibility studies; further details will not be released for publication at this time. Reporting to the Project Manager, the Technical Advisor collaborates with the Economic Advisor to ensure all necessary pre-design information for a thorough feasibility study. Scope of work and schedules for design and construction may be updated in the future, once projects have been approved.
