Question Deadline 01/02/2025-All questions about the meaning or intent ofthe Contract Documents shall be submitted to the ENGINEER in writing. Questions received less than 5-days prior to the date for opening of Bids will not be answered. The work consists of the construction of sanitary sewer, storm sewer, water main and the urbanization of Scheuring Road. Work shall include the following: 430 L.F. sanitary sewer; 1,500 L.F. water main; 900 L.F. storm sewer (including mini-storm); 2,250 L.F of roadway urbanization; 345 L.F. HMA trail; 130 L.F. sidewalk and site grading. Bid shall be received unless accompanied by a Certified Check or satisfactory Bid Bond payable to the Town of Lawrence in an amount not less than 10% of the maximum Bid as a guarantee that, if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute and file the Contract, Performance/Payment Bonds and Insurance Certification, as required by the Contract Documents, within 15-days after the Notice of Award. BID REJECTION The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, waive any informalities in Bidding or to accept the Bid or Bids which best serves the interests of the Town of Lawrence. WITHDRAWAL OF BIDS No Bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 60-days after the scheduled opening without the consent of the OWNER.
