The bid is for the membrane reroof repair or replacement of the roof of the Greeley County Courthouse, to include inspection, design proposal, tools, equipment, material, and personnel to complete the project. The scope of the work is as follows: Contractor shall remove the original roof system and secondary built up roof system, if one exists, including and membranes, roof ballast, EPS insulation down to existing concrete roof decking and haul away. Greeley County will retain the ballast and provide an area for stocking of the ballast off site. Deteriorated wood blocking or concrete decking will be noted, and will be repaired in the sole discretion of the Greeley County Board of Commissioners. Contractor will furnish and install over the existing concrete decking 2 layers d 2.6" polyisocyanurate roof insuation set in insulation adhesive (min R value of 30 per code). Furnish and install one layer of 1 1/2 " primed den deck cover board set in insulation adhesive. Supply and install wood blocking to accommodate new insulation/ roofing height. Supply and install a fully adhered 60 mil white TPO (thermoplastic polyolefin) single ply membrane over roof area and any parapet walls. All roof penetrations and edges shall be flashed/sealed in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations. Furnish and S install new 24 ga. Steel metal d flashing. The roof shall meet ULJ Class A and 55 mph wind rating requirements. Warranty for all 3 materials and labor shall be 2 minimum of 20 years. The contractor shall E be required to produce a Performance, Payment, and Maintenance Bond in an amount equal to the 100% of the contract, and keep same in effect throughout the duration of the project. All personnel must be bonded. Greeley County reserves the li right to accept that bid which, in its judgment will produce the best job of workmanship and material, regardless of whether it is higher than the lowest bid, and b reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any and all informalities of any proposal
