The City of Richmond, Virginia (the City), on behalf of the Department of Public Utilities (DPU) seeks bids from qualified firms for general contracting services related to the maintenance and repair of gas facilities (the Project). On an annual basis, approximately 2,400 gas leaks are expected to be repaired and about 400 gas services will need to be renewed across the Project service area. The service area includes gas mains and services within the City of Richmond, Henrico, Hanover, Chesterfield, and Goochland County. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Any bidder submitting a bid for a construction Contracts in excess of $100,000 shall submit to the City a bid guarantee of not less than five percent (5%) of the sum of all Line Items in the Bid Form.
