The County Administration-Grants Division uses Community Development Block Grants (CDBG), HOME, and other sources of funding to operate the Owner-Occupied Home Rehabilitation Program which requires construction contractor services. All qualified contractors included on the bidder's list will be invited to submit proposals for all projects. In order to qualify for inclusion on the list, a contractor must possess an Arizona Contractors License, a business license from the cities of Yuma, Somerton, and San Luis, an active registration, and insurance with endorsements that meet the Yuma County requirements, and Workers Compensation Insurance. In addition, applicants must provide references from previous residential rehabilitation or demolition projects, including those funded with State or Federal funds.
