The City of Bridgeport, acting through Sikorsky Memorial Airport, participates in the FAA Airport Improvement Program (AIP) and the Connecticut Airport Authority (CAA) Grant Programs. In accordance with FAA Advisory Circular 150/5100-14E the City of Bridgeport is requesting qualifications from qualified airport consultants to conduct an airport master plan update, pavement plan, and on-call planning, design, and construction administration services for future projects up to a five-year term. Question Deadline 01/09/2025 at 4:00 PM ET Any questions regarding this bid must be presented in writing and may be posted directly on electronically. All answers will be published in the form of an addenda. It is the City of Bridgeport's policy to provide Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) the opportunity to compete and/or participate in contracts. Sikorsky Memorial Airport maintains a fiscal year 2025 goal of 6.3% for the selected Consultant will, as necessary, complete DBE reporting requirements. Qualifications may be held by the City for a period not to exceed one hundred and twenty (120) days from the date of the opening of Qualifications for the purpose of reviewing the proposals and investigating the qualifications of Bidder, prior to awarding of the Contract. No proposal may be withdrawn within one hundred twenty (120) days after the date of opening thereof. The City reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informalities in the Bidding. The City of Bridgeport reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Qualification Statements received as a result of this request, or to cancel in part or in its entirety this Request for Qualification, if it is in the best interest of the City of Bridgeport to do so.
