Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in South Jordan, Utah. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

As of January 23, 2025, project was awarded to Ryan Kartchner Concrete Construction but awarded amount is not available. South Jordan City is seeking bids from qualified contractors to eliminate trip hazards at 65 locations with approximately 284 trip hazards in the sidewalk. Contractor will be required to remove all trip hazards to be ADA compliant, with a smooth finish, and performed per APWA and MUTCD requirements. The contractor is expected to do their own site visits and be familiar with the job requirements and possibilities. The City will not provide any equipment. The Contractor must include pricing for all materials, labor, equipment, delivery, fuel, maintenance, surcharges, waste fees, disposal fees, insurance, and all other costs required to perform the work. Contractor must provide proof of insurance and include all required licensing. Contractor will be responsible for any damages as a result of the machines, equipment, person, or item used during this process. Contractor will be responsible for all site cleanup including any and all debris related to the grinding process, as well as any work site garbage that may accrue. Any products or services that have been omitted from this specification that are clearly necessary for completing the work shall be considered a requirement although not directly specified or called for in this Bid All work shall be completed within 60 days of Notice to Proceed. Notice to Proceed will be given immediately upon award of the project. Qualified Consultant must have: 1. A minimum of 7 years' experience with trip hazard removal/elimination. 2. Operational and technical resources necessary for the execution and completion of the contract. 3. Knowledge of and able to meet all ADA, APWA, OSHA, EPA, and MUTCD requirements. 4. A valid business license to perform the work associated with trip hazard removal. 5. Performed at least (5) projects using methods similar to what is outlined above in Project Requirements.
