**As of April 30, 2025, this project has been awarded to Black Forest Paving but the awarded amount is not available.** Construction services including sewer maintenance and repair, roads and highways and excavation and backfill services, levee and dam construction and digging, ditching, road grading, rock stabilization, equipment rental or lease, and energy conservation The City of South Jordan seeks proposals from experienced and qualified Contractors to provide Asphalt Overlay construction for the Citys 2025 Overlay projects. Questions Due Date: Mar 18th 2025, 12:00 PM MDT Any changes or clarifications will be made through the Addendum process through BONFIRE. It is the responsibility of the Vendor to check and ensure they have examined all addendum(s) or questions. The City is not responsible for any Vendors whose Bids do not take into consideration updated information released through the Q&A function in BONFIRE or through any addendums added through BONFIRE. Each construction season the city does regular roadway maintenance, and a portion of that maintenance is to mill and overlay asphalt street sections, trails, and parking lots. The collector streets and arterials receive a 2" mill and 2" overlay of PG64-34 Super Pave mix, the UDOT super pave mix. The city is looking for a contractor that can provide the required materials and excellent work for our overlay projects for this coming year. The Work locations for overlay are outlined on the attached maps for 3200 West and 9800 South and South Jordan Parkway. The work Includes a 2" Mill and 2" overlay PG 64-34 UDOT Spec Superpave Mix.The overlay areas as outlined on the reference maps will follow specified standards and generally include, but are not limited to 2" Full Width and/or Lane Milling, Delivery, Placement, and Compaction of 2" Superpave Asphalt Overlay; Lower and Raise Monuments, Valves, Sewer, Storm and Water Manhole Lids to Grade; Replace Existing Striping per striping plans; Tree trimming and any other Materials and Labor necessary to complete the job based on construction plans. The work must be substantially complete 45 days from Notice to Proceed. The OWNER anticipates a Notice to Proceed will be given on July 1st 2025.
