Replacements shall match existing as to materials, finish, shape and size. Do not mix galvanized with copper or aluminum. Where replacements are of a complete system or side of a system having no cross connections with sections not to be replaced, used baked pre-enameled aluminum, 5 inch K-type in standard colors. Minimum thickness of aluminum shall be .027 inches for troughs and fittings. Use one or a combination of strap hangers, spike and ferrules or fascia hangers. Space hangers and slip joint connectors per manufacturer's instructions. Maximum spacing of hangers shall be 48 inches OC for galvanized and 30 inches for aluminum. Use only recommended gutter seal and rivets or screws at all joints. All work, whether a complete new system or a partial replacement, shall have the system with a pitch of not less than 1 inch in 16 feet. Divert the water away from the foundation using appropriate extensions and/or concrete splash blocks. All work to conform to code and G.S. 4a. Match existing color.
