Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Benson, North Carolina. Working plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
**Per Addendum 4 the bid date is on hold while investigating asbestos in the roofing materials.** The purpose of this request for proposal is to invite prospective vendors to submit a proposal for the roof replacement of the Benson Community Resource Building for the Town of Benson. Building address is 403 South Elm Street, Benson, NC. o New TPO to replace existing. Fully adhered 20 year, 60 mil over 1/4 " densdeck protection board. o Run TPO under metal coping at roof edge. o New pipe boots, pitch pockets, corner trims, etc. to make complete roof system. o NOTE: The existing HVAC units and fans will be replaced. Coordination with HVAC contractor necessary is curb sizes change. This may require separate mobilization. o Removal of existing facia and soffit panels and replaced with new per drawings. Project is based on a 'complete system.' o Facia panels to be 7/8" corrugated steel, color selected by Owner. o Soffit panels to be 1/2" exterior American gypsum. o All waste materials to be disposed of at appropriate land fill. o Reference the drawings for all details.
