This project replaces two high-voltage electrical Switches, 24 and 25, with new switches near Estes Hall and Carver Hall, respectively. The new Switch 24 will be located at an above-ground pad north of Estes Hall. The new Switch 25 will be located in a new underground vault west of the existing vault. In both cases, the existing vaults will remain, repurposed to aid future cable installations. New underground conduit will also be added to each of the new vaults, and a new high-voltage cable will be installed between Switch 25 and Estes Hall. Successful bidder will be required to furnish a Contract Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract sum within ten (10) days after receipt of Notice of Award.
