Deliveries shall be F.O.B Destination. Sales tax exempt. Approved Brands Any manufacturers names, trade names, brand names, or catalog numbers used in the specification are for establishing and describing general performance and quality levels. The references are not intended to be restrictive, and bids are invited on these and comparable brands or products of any manufacturer. Responders must include alternate brand specifications for purposes of comparison to approved brands based on the same or higher level of performance. Purchase Orders A purchase order will be issued after award. It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule.
