The general nature of the work on which bids are requested is: rehabilitation of 15,000 LF sanitary sewer ranging 8"- 15" diameter by CIPP lining at various locations in the eastern half of sanitary sewer subshed 'Basin' 10 from Clark Ave to Maxwell Ave between N 24th and N 9th Streets within the City of Ames. Work includes CIPP lining, grouting, pipe replacement, surface restoration, and miscellaneous related work and appurtenances in accordance with the contract documents. The city manager shall announce the results of the bidding, together with recommendations thereon, to the City Council at its meeting to be held at 6:00 PM local time on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 in the Council Chambers in City Hall, 515 Clark Avenue, Ames, Iowa, Bidding documents and proposal forms obtained from any other source may have an incomplete set of documents. Bidders using bidding documents and/or proposal forms not obtained from the City of Ames Public Works Department are advised to contact the City of Ames Public Works Department to provide a contact name, mailing address, and phone number to enable receipt of necessary addenda.
