Springville City's Clyde Recreation Center (the "CRC") is an approximate 70,000 square foot indoor recreation facility with a modest outdoor pool. Immediately east of the CRC parking lot, the City owns approximately 1.8 acres of property (the "Property"). The purpose of this RFP is to receive proposals for constructing a fitness park in the southeast corner of the Property immediately south of existing pickleball courts, as shown on the map under Attachment A. The total square footage of the proposed CRC fitness park is Approximately 17,500 square feet. The fitness park concept design is attached as Attachment B. Schedule. The project must be completed by July 31, 2025. Questions shall be referred to Tyler Wilkins, Parks and Rec Assistant Director, via email at twilkins@springville.org. No questions will be accepted nor answered 24 hours before submittal date and time. Springville City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive minor irregularities when to do so would be in Springville City's best interests, or accept any proposal for any reason (if lawful to do so) that meets Springville City's best interests. Minor irregularities are those which will not have a significant adverse effect on overall competition or performance levels. This RFP is to request proposals for the design and construction to completion of those improvements highlighted on the concept design attached as Attachment B, which include: o A dual lane timed 40-yard dash system, o A timed obstacle course for all ages, o An adult fitness area, o A mini-turf field, and o Site furnishings with shade cover. Specifications to the above list are more specifically described in this RFP. This RFP is meant to obtain the above listed improvements or similarly equivalent improvements that will best meet Springville City's Parks and Recreation Department's desired vision for the park.
