NOTE: The Supervisors of Butler Township have authorized C.S. Davidson, Inc., to act on their behalf by opening bids. Contracts will be awarded at a regularly scheduled meeting of Butler Township. A Bid Bond by acceptable surety or a certified check made payable to Butler Township in the amount of 10% of the maximum bid must be provided by each bidder with each bid. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100% of the contract price shall be required from the Successful Bidder. An anti-collusion affidavit is required for this Bid. The Contract Time for all Contracts is two hundred seventy (270) calendar days. The Board of Supervisors for Butler Township intends to award a contract for the Base Bid and any combination, or none, of the Alternate Bid Items. The Owner shall have the right to accept Alternates in any order or combination, unless otherwise specifically provided in the Bidding Documents. The lowest responsive Bid will be determined on the basis of the sum of the Base Bid and Alternates accepted. Reduction of quantities or elimination of portions of the project will not constitute grounds of additional or compensatory charges to the low bidder.
