Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Butler, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
This project involves selective demolition, site clearing, soil import, grading and compaction, and E&S. Proposals to receive consideration must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bidders Bond from a Surety Company authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, made to the order of Butler Township in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Proposal as a guarantee that, if the Proposal is accepted. Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, along with Public Liability and Property Damage Certificates of Insurance in the amounts specified, as well as Certificates of Workman's Compensation must be filed with the executed Agreement. The Township reserves the right to waive any bid informalities or to reject any or all bids. If more time is necessary for the determination of the lowest responsible bidder, the Commission of Butler Township reserves the right to award the Contract later but not exceeding sixty (60) days from the date Bids were submitted. This project involves selective demolition, site clearing, soil import, grading and compaction, and E&S. All incidental items required to complete the work, complete in place. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
